A uitlaatgastemperatuursensor is very useful for the tuning of the main jet in a 2 stroke (kart) engines. This enables you to quickly determine how far you are from the correct adjustment. Also, the risk for detonation due to poor adjustment, limited by the measure of the exhaust gas temperature.
