Radiator New-Line SUPPLEMENTARE

The New model for karts by Supplementare-Line is not a main radiator but as the name says it is an add-on, a supplemnetary radiator: it is mounted together with the main radiator, but in a different spot to increase the overall efficacy of the engine cooling process. The Supplementare in fact receives boiling hot water as soon as it comes out of the engine: its function is to lower the temperature as much as possible before water enters the main radiator and undergoes the standard cooling process, after which it renters the engine and completes the cycle.
Compared to a standard kart radiator Supplementare, the model is horizontal and this is because it is intended to be installed behind the pilot seat where it harnesses air that pushes up from under the seat's edge.
The Supplementare can be mounted as add-on to the R, RS, and Big radiators for karts by New-Line and can be used for all categories except races with KF3 engines, because it's forbidden by official regulations.
Technical informations
-Who makes it?: Manufacturing this add-on radiator requires two people: the first creates the parts using a specific cast modelled after the seat outline and then prepares them for assembly; the other then welds the pieces by hand, one by one.
-Material: This radiator is made with an alloy composed of three different alloys, to withstand the extremely high temperatures it is exposed to.
-Comparison: The Supplementare is comparable in efficacy and function to the Hobby model: the "protected" position it's in makes it less effective but certainly more practical (and easier to mount too) because when you need to do engine work it is not in the way and doesn't need to be taken out.
