The HD HERO 960 delivers the same professional quality, 720 p and 480 p (WVGA) video 960p and 5 megapixel timelapse photo modes, and incredible sound recording system as its big brother; the original HD HERO camera.

The difference compared with the HD HERO lies in the 720 p @ 60 fps, 1080p missing video, and the HERO BUS expansion port at the back of the camera that offers the advantage to make use of BacPac accessories GoPro's upcoming; important features that work with the original HD HERO camera.
